RIV Equipment

Radio influence voltage is high frequency voltage that appears at the terminals of high voltage electrical equipment. It is used along with partial discharge as a measure of the dielectric properties of insulation and to determine if there is the potential for leakage current in your test sample that could lead to future damage.
