  This year’s NWPPA Engineering and Operations Conference was held in beautiful Spokane, WA once again, and was well attended and fruitful for Hipotronics. Items on display were the 5250-15-A Portable Thumper, 880PL-10MA-A 80kV DC Hipot Test Set, OC60D-A 60kV AC Oil Dielectric Test Set, TTR 2795  Transformer Turns Ratiometer, and FRA 5310  Sweep Frequency Response Analyzer.   This year Hipotronics and Haefely attended the WIRE show in Dusseldorf Germany. Of the many items on display, one in particular was the Tettex 2840 high accuracy C, L & tan δ measuring bridge. This is among many products that Hipotronics and Haefely can offer for high voltage cable/wire testing.  We enjoyed talking with our customers about specific cable applications as well as talking with them about all of our cable & wire testing solutions. Hipotronics and Haefely look forward to next year’s WIRE show so we can continue to provide proven and new products for the cable & wire industry.

  This year the Hubbell High Voltage Test Business (HHVTB) was present at the 2012 Distributech Conference and Exhibition in San Antonio Texas where we displayed several of our test and measurement products. Some of these products included the new Tettex 2293 – winding resistance meter with on time connection and the 2796 – fully automated three phase 250V transformer turns ratio meter. Visitors to the booth were also interested in our Onyx 30 ESD gun, part of the Haefely EMC product line. Overall the show was a success and those that visited our booth showed interest in the new products that were presented.
  
  Representing the HHVTB were sales engineers – Matt Duplessis, Jay Patel and Matt Waltz. We look forward to attending next years show in San Diego so we can continue to exhibit our company’s wide offering of test and measurement equipment for the industry.
